AM- Morning workout at warner valley. Tempo run went so well. I stuck with Bailey, Lauren, and Sam until the very end. Coach said to exercise patience so that's what I'm trying to work on and finish my workouts strong. I'm so excited to race this weekend!

AM- weights and easy 3 after with the team

PM- 6 miles with the girls on the Arizona strip going out to little black mountain. EVERYONE brought water today because last year Chloe almost died from heat exhaustion on this run... but everyone survived today!

AM- 3 miles with Coach Powell, Lisa, and Lauren. Did the normal three mile loop

PM- I got sooo much done today and by the time it was 3 I was ready to run. Our 400's at the baseball fields went so good. All the girls were so tight I thought we were going to trip on each other lol. Overall a super solid day.

AM- 3 Miles easy with Coach Powell and some of the boys. Told him about my crazy dreams and some of our worst date stories lol.

PM- After a long day, we had 4 miles at practice. Felt a little flat but that was probably from the workout yesterday. Ran up the Spectrum and Kenna did her first full run with the gold girls! SO PROUD OF HER!

AM- went to the temple to visit my grandma and grandpa and do some baptisms- overall an awesome morning

PM- 3 mile shakeout run on the course at the utah county race. 8 strides after and a good stretch

Pumped to race tomorrow!!

RACE DAY! 

Did a 1.75 mile warm up, strides and calisthenics. 

Started the race strong and maybe a touch fast. Bailey, Sam, Lauren and I all ran together again but I think we were a little nervous to go get those lone peak girls so early in and I think that's something we can work on. about 800 to go I got a little behind our girls again. It's really frustrating because I run the whole race with our girls and I have a hard time closing out the third mile as my fastest mile. I need to work on that. But overall it was a super positive race - we took second behind lp and I had a HUGE course pr!
