It's been about 5 months since I was running consistently. Honestly I just needed a break from someone telling me to work out. I was so upset about how things ended at UVU and the team environment there that I let it cloud the way I feel when I run. It's time for me to get back into it! I am starting very slow but I have big goals and I know it's all about consistency. I'm just excited to get back into it!

2 miles on the trusty treadmill. It has gotten so cold so fast here. It felt good to run a little farther today and I felt a bit more normal. Finished with a lot of stretching to help my body adjust. I think I'm going to shoot for a half marathon in January for some race distance practice - and then try and race in March/April. I'm so excited to be getting back into things - feeling better, more confident, and strong, I know it's not going to be super fun getting back into shape but I know myself and I'm not gunna give up!

Fun loop from the apartment before the dog trainer came. It was so nice to get outside in the cool air before it gets cold and rainy tomorrow. Felt more like myself! It was a lot easier to go faster today too!

3 easy with Nicholas - so fun to get to run with him and talk about our days. Talked about  insecurities and how much confidence plays into things - overall a great run and day

Good run today - definitely feeling the 5 months of no running! ;) went a little longer than I wanted but Nick picked the route and wasn't paying attention so we just got to go a little extra today I guess haha.

3 mile run during a break from the rain - testing out my new light now that it's getting dark so early. + arms and stretching. Felt really good!

4 miles easy with nick- I haven't been sleeping very well bc of my stress dreams so it was nice to talk it out with nick and get some confidence before tomorrows meeting! 
30 minutes on the bike easy after just keeping hr above 140 + stretching

Just 3 miles today - got off work pretty late and just neeeed to get my run in. Was able to talk to my mom about my big scary work meeting so that was super nice and definitely rested my breath control while running haha 

stretching + legs up after - was going to do strength but ran out of time

4 miles in the morning- didn't run the end of last week because I was starting to get sick and I didn't want to be deado for this weekend. Felt okay and was happy to stay out of the rain

60+ hour weeks are inevitable during race production but man they still freaking suck
