AM- another beast of a swim practice. I had a super good workout but was really tired after.

Met up at the high school to do the mileage. I'm so ready for organized practice to start again because I miss running with everyone :( it was just bailey, chloe and I today. We did the boneyard loop and then one lap on the track. Felt pretty good but I'm mostly just excited for track to officially start tomorrow!

Swim meet today! It's a little bit of a bummer bc I dont get to run but I only have a few of these left so I gotta enjoy them! Swam in the 200 medley anchoring the freely leg. Went a 25.9 so not too shabby. I swam the 200 free too and ended up going a 2:02. It wasn't what I wanted but I got a lot of good feedback. I swim the 500 tomorrow and I know I can crush it!

AM-

morning swim again. We are about a month out from state so I'm getting excited to be done with these 4:30am wake up calls. Good workout just long swimming.

2 mile run with dad when I got home. We kept it super easy and chill but it'll be nice to start getting more mileage in the mornings.

Track practice! Its only been 3 days but I missed everyone. I've had a rough couple of weeks but going to practice helps me list forget about all of that for a good 2 hours. Easy 6 with stride

Slept in and went to the meet after school.

200 Medley Relay- new 4A state record and a first place finish and a new best 50 time of 24.5

200 Freestyle- I was so nervous for this race but it helped that I was suited up and lily even came. I raced the best I could and came in second with a 1:58. I was so happy to finally go under 2:00 for the first time this season

Region Swim!

500 freestyle was awesome! I knew I was going to have to try work my walls to win this thing and my race went just as coach shawn and I planned it would. I went a pr and dropped 4 seconds taking first!

4x100- last race of the meet and I went a 55.5 for the first 100. Lady thunder won by over 200 points!

So pumped for state!

AM- did state meet format today doing all our races just broken. Did 5x100s for the 500 with 10s rest in between 100s and added up my time. Went a 5:23 and I am pumped for next week.

PM- met up with BAM and supported their ride and then did 4 miles easy with the group. It was a BEAUTIFUL day and I loved it. Totally felt like summer.

Swim- swim after at summit and it was awesome. Super nice weather and a pretty chill practice to start our taper. Loved today!

8 miles today around sand hollow. Beautiful weather but I was missing my main ladies. Hung out with the tri peeps that are down while they did their workout and ran with connor weaver who is so speedy quick. Excited to get back at it for track here next week and finally feelin good!

AM- I got to SLEEP IN!! I was honestly so excited lol. I slept in until 7:30 and it was amazing.

PM- Took a much-needed snow day today to get my life back together after being so busy with swim and being sick. I basically deep cleaned everything in my room and bathroom and it feels so nice to have it all clean. Workout today for track felt awesome. Lots of 200's with lily and some good convo with coach. I am way excited for next week and getting my mileage up.

Do you still do triathlons?

We had the ITU Yokohama triathlon race here in Yokohama this month. I went and watched the US womens' team take a sweep of the medals.

It was fun. I thought of you when I was watching it.

I've been thinking about balance a lot lately. It can be hard to balance running, family, religion, work and friends and still have time for other things. I'm so thankful for triathlons and everything it has taught me about balance because lets be honest - it has taught me a lot.
